If you are a regular visitor to this blog (which you ought to be, by the way), then by now you should know that I’m not a fan of store-bought food. The can may say “healthy” but the product label tells an entirely different story so to save myself and my family from chemical additives with names I can barely pronounce, I usually go the homemade route and salad dressings are no exceptions.
We all know that vegetables and fruits play a vital role in our body; eating a diet rich in these will protect us from a number of chronic diseases. When it comes to meals for the family, I always try to keep it clean and that means incorporating more fresh produce, focusing more on the nutrients and, of course, cutting out processed foods.
